HBA MEMBERS: ANYONE INTERESTED?

So, we thought we would open up to the alliance to members who wanted to contribute to the "HBA" for adding content or help giving suggestions to the improvement.

What are you thinking about?
What would you like to see?
What would you do?
Would you like to be a HBA Staff?
Why is it that we have 500+ members and a average of 20 comments a week?

Sorry the last one was mine, where are you all... should we be strictly a post of members without all the updates and other things?

I think it would be a great idea for members to cross-post some of their blog entries here so that we could all connect and find new blogs to follow!

Ok, we have 200 members right?

Why not have 1 blogger each day write a review of a movie for this blog? They can write as much or as little as they want, and then at the bottom post a link to where their blog is.

If 1 blogger did 1 review a day everyday, that's 200 days of posts easily done.

We're already writing anyways, why not make something new and fresh? Let every blogger get their unique writing style in this blog and links straight to their blogs.

Not just "cross post" but an all new exclusive review for this site.

Heck, I'd even be willing to do it more often than not.

As far as doing exclusive reviews, that would be a bit tricky for me. I do 7 a week, plus a Top 12 List for That Guy With The Glasses.com

Cross-posting is an interesting idea though.

I'm certainly guilty of not using the site enough, but I'm trying to work on that a bit.

Exclusive reviews are tricky because some of us just aren't reviewers by nature. :-)

I, too, am neglectful of too many blogs including this one. But I could certainly swing a contribution of a book review or movie review some time.

@Melissa - A review might not be something you'd be comfortable with, but you could always offer up a guest post about your favorite horror villain, or overused gimmick in horror, or maybe a simple photo meme.

My problem is simply that while I'm an enthusiastic blogger, I'm not a very prolific one (some of our members post more in a few days than I do in a month), and I don't really do any contests, giveaways, etc. I would be up for the occasional contribution (review, Top 10 list, etc) or some sort of large-scale participation thing, however.

Maybe a Horror film club, to help introduce each other to some over looked titles and revisit classic titles.
I know Final Girl has her film club, but doesn't mean we can't have one here aswell.

For me it's now become a problem of too many...too many blogs to read, not enough time!

Am supposed to be editing my new flick right now...but I'm procrastinating...
